    This memoir tells of the sense of loss that led Neil Peart on a 55,000-mile journey by motorcycle across much of North America, down through Mexico to Belize, and back to Quebec. While riding the 'healing road' he recorded in his journals his progress and setbacks in the grieving/healing process. He also recorded the travel adventures he had along the way and the people, characters, friends and relatives he met along the way.
