Abstract
"In Medieval times, the royalty and nobility built huge fortified castles surrounded by moats to control and defend their territory and the local travel routes, and protect their people. Most castles that survive today were built from stone. They had towers and arrow slits from which the soldiers could see any attackers at long distances. Some of the nobility had knights to defend them. Knights swore their loyalty to the king or noble of their choice. They needed expensive armour and weapons, and each one had his own well-trained war horse, which he depend to take care of him in battle."--
