No one has less interest in mysteries than baker Corinna Chapman. She's keeping an eye on the door for Daniel, her recently acquired lover, to walk back into her life.

It's 1928 and St Kilda's streets hang with fairy lights. Magic shows, marionettes, tea dances, tango competitions and picnics on the beach are all part of the Flower Parade.
