    Résumé:

When you change the way you look at things, the things you look at change. “Competing in the 2004 Athens Paralympic Games was definitely one of the biggest thrills in my life. The discipline, motivation, coaching support and excitement of achieving success boosted my self esteem and self-confidence so much that after Athens, I yearned to pass on what I’d learned. The message of never giving up, such a throwaway line, took on real meaning as I experienced first hand its full power. The mind is so powerful that it can make or break you; it is the one thing standing between you and the finish line. It took time for me to harness my mind’s power, but once I had it, I felt invincible.”
