Abstract
The evolution of popular WA institutions, such as BankWest, the Royal Automotive Club, the University of Western Australia and the West Coast Eagles all make for an interesting read, as do Bolton's insights on the current mining boom and the emergence of western entrepreneurship. While being both informative and analytical, Bolton's wry observations about Western Australia's unique history will stimulate public debate.
