    Résumé:

New Zealander Justin Brown, the world's only door-to-door busker, had a bet one day with an Australian mate over the outcome of a rugby match between the All Blacks and the Wallabies. Whoever lost the bet would have to re-enact the most embarrassing thing they'd ever done. Justin drew the short straw. His punishment was to door-to-door busk his way around England and earn enough money to get home. 'UK on a G-string' is the story of his mission. Armed with a black duffel coat and a guitar, he travels the country in mid-winter, knocking on doors and singing for his supper (and his air fare home). Along the way he meets gypsies, drinks with Britain's most famous busker, harasses carol singers, plucks turkeys, plays in rest homes, speaks to J K Rowling and gets told to sod off 357 times. From London to Edinburgh, from the valleys of Wales to the back streets of York, Justin's adventures will delight and entertain.
