As the villagers work hard at their chores, Raven works equally hard avoiding them. After escaping to the forest, he finds himself in the middle of a dispute over a giant salmon.

In this tale there is an old man who keeps the sky, the stars, the moon, and the light of the world in a set of boxes. Raven tricks him into opening the boxes.
