As Ben plants the seeds of a new republic, King George III appoints William as Royal Governor of New Jersey--a change in affairs that creates a revolutionary family rift. Based on Ernest J. Gaines' National Book Critics Circle Award-winning novel, A lesson before dying is set in a small Louisiana Cajun community in the late 1940's. Jefferson, a young illiterate black man, is falsely convicted of murder and is sentenced to death. Grant Wiggins, the plantation schoolteacher, agrees to talk with the condemned man. The disheartened Wiggins had once harbored dreams of escaping from his impoverished youth, yet he returned to his home town after university, to teach children whose lives seemed as unpromising as Jefferson's.

The Ozzie and Harriet radio show starred Ozzie Nelson and his wife, singer Harriet Nelson, and their sons, David and Ricky along with their fictitious neighbor, "Thorny".  This family-friendly, fun, and entertaining program launched October 8, 1944 and ran until June 18, 1954. In total 402 radio episodes were produced.  Relive the "good old days" with 30 episodes of this classic radio sitcom.

Conceived as a potential radio vehicle for Alfred Hitchcock to direct, Suspense was a radio series of epic proportions. It aired on CBS from 1942 to 1962 and is considered by many to be the best mystery/drama series of the golden age. This is a collection of 16 original half-hour radio broadcasts featuring female characters.

Lorraine Hansberry's award-winning drama about the hopes and aspirations of a struggling, working-class family living on the South Side of Chicago connected profoundly with the psyche of black America—and changed American theater forever. The play's title comes from a line in Langston Hughes's poem "Harlem," which warns that a dream deferred might "dry upke a raisin in the sun."
