Abstract
One morning, young Cloud awakens in the form of a human girl, shedding the bear shape she inherited from her true father. Determined to learn to live in her new body, Cloud struggles to fit into the life of Sandspit Town, but her mother's human husband, King Rumble, despises her and seeks her downfall. Draws on the myths of the Native American tribes of the Pacific Northwest.
