Abstract
The reliably unreliable narrator Jack Handey and his friend, Don--who might be familiar to fans of "Deep Thoughts"--go on a quest for the Golden Monkey that takes them into the mysterious and stinky foreign land of Honolulu. There, they meet with untold dangers, strange natives, and the ruins of ancient civilizations.
