Abstract
Several therapeutic approaches are presented in this book, including psychology, acupuncture, osteopathy, naturopathy, physiotherapy, chiropractic, massage therapy, kinesiology, yoga, Qi Gong and integrative medicine. A total of 39 studies are listed to document these approaches. Moreover, the author shows that Quebec is falling behind English Canada, the United States and Europe with regards to the integration of therapeutic approaches in the healthcare system. He explains some of the political, legal and cultural reasons for this lag, which is causing considerable harm to the population.
