Abstract
Jonathan Edwards experienced two seasons of revival during his pastorate in Northampton, New England - one in 1734-5 and the other a few years later in 1740-42. He gave insightful counsel regarding the discernment of true experiences of revival and those that were merely emotionalism or fanaticism.
